My Oscar quest is complete!!! Great movie, wow, gave me chills when they sang some of those amazing songs. Anne Hathaway was outstanding even though her role doesn’t last too long. Russell Crowe, not terrible. The visual part and acting part on his behalf was excellent, just the singing part didn’t back him up completely. He did do well when singing with others. Time to wait till Sunday for the 2013 OSCARS!!! Oh, and Cassie, I would but I really don’t know where to find a version with subtitles……..I’ll watch it eventually!

This movie is absolutely outstanding. I can’t wait to...

This movie is absolutely outstanding. I can’t wait to watch it again. Even with the blood and guts just like Tarantino is famour for, the story is incredible and makes you almost want to shout out loud for Django to win in the end! I really hope this wins some awards. I love movies that have happy endings, great plots, and stunning actors to play the parts. 7 movies down, Les Miserables to go…..

Oh and P.S. Jamie Foxx is my new man crush….just saying…..

Great movie, heard this is the favorite in the running or the best picture award. I thought it was excellent but I’m not quite sure if it deserves winning that. Don’t get me wrong though, amazing movie and you all need to see it, lot of history in it as well. 6 movies down, 2 to go. (I’m cutting Amour, I realized it was in French so yeah…)

Love this movie!!!!!!! Didn’t know any background before watching it, Cooper and Deniro are fabulous, and the ending is a perfect classic that really makes me want to watch this movie again. 5 Oscar movies down, 4 to go

Great movie. Little confusing and interesting at the beginning but hang in there. I was a little skeptical when I heard this 9 year old girl was nominated for Best Actress…..she shouldn’t win but she certainly deserves the nominations. Great Job. Great Movie. 4 Oscar movies down, 5 to go

Great movie! A little weird at first, but hang in there folks. Really gets you into it in the end and had me engrossed in it. Don’t mind the movie poster, which makes it look different than the actual story. 3 Oscar movies down, 6 to go.

Fantastic book. Highly recommended for a great account of a realistic World War III. The Soviet Union needs oil and goes to war against NATO. Amazing how Clancy ties in many stories to make the whole war be analyzed by the reader. Not a part of the Jack Ryan Universe but certainly worth the read. I was pulling for NATO all the way just as if it was happening in real life. Go Clancy!

Great movie. Don’t go see it to have an action packed shoot-em up movie, but go for a great movie in how Osama Bin Laden was taken down. It’s full of drama and a hard talking cast. Even though the whole movie, you know what will happen, it’s just a fantastic presentation. 2 Oscar movies down, 7 to go.

This beautiful man was not only funny, he could also sing like the dickens. You will probably recognize him if you’ve seen White Christmas, and if you haven’t already, I encourage you to watch his other films as well!
I was first introduced to him during a high school English class when we watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty after reading the short story of the same name. I’ve been in love with him ever since.

Percy Bysshe Shelley one of the greatest poets to come out of the Romantic era. He was as romantic and misunderstood as his poems depicted. A great love story between him and Mary Shelley. They survived the death of their children and even after his death , Mary refused to marry saying ” Mary Shelley so pretty a name I would like it on my tombstone”.

On July 20, 1969, President Richard Nixon used this green telephone in the Oval Office to talk to the Apollo 11 astronauts while they were on the surface of the moon.

Now you can see this same phone on display in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. This morning at 11 a.m., we will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the display “Nixon and the U.S. Space Program,” which will feature rarely seen documents, photographs, and artifacts that represent milestones in manned spaceflight during President Nixon’s administration.

It’s also the 100th anniversary of the birth of Richard Nixon. Stop by during this centennial year and learn about Nixon’s support for the lunar program and his efforts to improve Cold War relations through a cooperative space exploration program.

The telephone is part of the holdings of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
